Stylish Detroit is committed to providing high-quality real estate media with efficient scheduling and a professional client experience. These policies help ensure every appointment runs smoothly and that we deliver consistent results across the many properties we photograph each day.

By scheduling services with Stylish Detroit, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the policies outlined below.

Scheduling

Our photographers strive to arrive on time; however, please allow a window of approximately ±15 minutes to account for traffic or unforeseen circumstances.

Appointment length is determined by the size of the property and the services ordered. Please make homeowners aware of the expected duration of the session.

Property Preparation

Properties should be fully prepared and photo-ready at the scheduled appointment time.

Cleaning, staging, and adjustments should be completed before the photographer arrives. Photographers are not responsible for cleaning, staging, or moving large furniture or personal belongings.

If the property is not ready at the scheduled time, portions of the property may be photographed as-is or the appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Exterior Preparation

Driveways, nearby street frontage, and visible exterior areas should be cleared of vehicles, trash bins, and clutter prior to the appointment.

Vehicles present during the shoot may appear in the final images.

Activity During the Shoot

For best results, homeowners, agents, contractors, and pets should remain outside the rooms or areas being photographed while photography or video is in progress.

Movement in active spaces may delay the appointment or appear in final media.

Artistic Style

The Client acknowledges familiarity with the Stylish Detroit portfolio and engages our services with an understanding of our artistic style and professional judgment.

Media is not subject to rejection based on personal taste, aesthetic preference, or homeowner opinion.

Requests for reshoots due to staging changes or homeowner preferences may require a new appointment.

Editing & Retouching

Standard editing includes professional color correction, exposure balancing, perspective adjustments, and general image optimization.

Additional retouching or image alterations beyond standard editing may be available for an additional fee.

Twilight Images

Most shoots include one complimentary virtual twilight image.

Clients are encouraged to specify their preferred image for twilight conversion at the time of booking or during the appointment. If no preference is provided, Stylish Detroit will select the image most suitable for twilight conversion.

Additional twilight edits may be ordered separately.

Drone Photography

Drone photography is captured at the photographer’s discretion based on property layout, weather conditions, safety considerations, and FAA regulations.

Specific aerial requests should be communicated at the time of booking or during the appointment. Additional aerial requests made after the shoot may require a return visit and may incur additional fees.

Media Delivery

Photography is typically delivered the next business day. Video delivery timelines vary depending on the services ordered.

Clients are encouraged to review delivered media promptly and notify Stylish Detroit of any concerns.

Photos, videos, property websites, and marketing materials remain accessible in the client portal for 365 days from the shoot date. Stylish Detroit is not obligated to store media beyond this period.

Video Review & Revisions

For video products that include revisions, a review link will be provided for approval.

Clients have 5 days from delivery of the review link to submit revision requests. If no revisions are requested within this period, the video will be considered approved and finalized.

Most long-form video products include one round of revisions. Additional revisions or significant creative changes may incur additional editing fees.

Payment

Media is released and licensed for use only after full payment has been received.

Payments are processed through the Stylish Detroit client portal.

Property Access

Clients are responsible for ensuring the property is accessible at the scheduled appointment time, including providing lockbox codes, gate access, concierge permissions, or other necessary entry instructions.

If access cannot be obtained at the scheduled time, the appointment may be treated as an on-site cancellation.

Safety

Stylish Detroit reserves the right to cancel or terminate a shoot if conditions are unsafe, including hazardous environments, aggressive animals, infestations, unsafe air quality, or structural risks.

Photographers determine safe shooting positions at their discretion and will not access roofs, unstable structures, ladders not provided by the company, or any location that presents a safety concern.

Service Area

Appointments located outside a 30-mile radius of Detroit may be subject to a mileage surcharge.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may incur a booking fee. Appointments cancelled shortly before the scheduled time or after arrival may incur a larger cancellation fee.

Full cancellation details are provided during the booking process.

Stylish Detroit retains full copyright ownership of all photos and video created.

Real estate media clients are granted a limited license to use the delivered media solely for marketing the current listing of the photographed property in accordance with MLS rules unless otherwise agreed in writing.

This license expires when the property is sold or the listing agreement ends.

Use by third parties—including architects, builders, designers, stagers, publications, sellers, buyers, or other agents—requires written permission from Stylish Detroit.
