Highlighting Property Boundaries: Our new Lot Lines Add-on is another Valuable Tool to Market Your Listings Effectively

As Metro Detroit’s original & leading real estate photography company, we are constantly seeking new ways to enhance our clients' marketing efforts and help their listings stand out in a crowded market. We are excited to announce a new add-on to any drone package - lot lines highlighting property boundaries. We believe this is an essential and valuable marketing tool for large and irregular parcels.

What are Lot Line Photos?

Lot line images are high quality aerial photos that show the boundaries of a parcel of property. Lot line photos can be particularly useful for listings with irregular parcels or large lots, as they help potential buyers understand the size and shape of the property, as well as any unique features or obstacles, such as a fence, pool, or retaining wall.

How do I order a lot line image?

When you book any photography package that includes drone photography “Add Lot Lines” will appear on order form under available add-ons.

How do you determine lot lines?

We create these images by overlaying the property's public record data onto the actual photograph.

It is important to note that our lot line photos should be considered an aid to visualize the property's boundaries, and not a replacement for an actual survey. Lot line photos may not accurately depict the property lines or legal boundaries of the property. As such, we recommend that Realtors and their clients consult with a licensed surveyor to verify the property's boundaries.

Why Include a Lot Lines Photo in your Listing?

1.) Stand out from other listings. When there’s lots of inventory available, it can be difficult for a property to stand out. Lot line photos can help a listing get noticed and attract more attention from potential buyers, and differentiate your marketing from those of other agents. These images draw attention to unique features such as pools, access to community amenities, a large backyard or garden, location and scale of out-buildings, or proximity to a waterfront. Showcase a secluded and private yard with mature trees, access to a trailhead, or a unique parcel shape that may be deceiving in size in traditional photos.

2.) Increased Credibility. By offering lot line photos, you can demonstrate your attention to detail and your commitment to providing comprehensive marketing solutions to your clients tailored to the unique needs of their property. Additionally, you’ll build trust and confidence with buyers by providing them with useful and valuable information that will help them better understand the property.

3.) Improve Communication with Buyers. A photo can communicate information in a glance, instantly. Photos with lot lines provide even more information. By providing relevant visual aids, you can effortlessly and instantaneously help potential buyers make informed decisions about whether or not the listing will meet their needs, and help them visualize how they can utilize the space.

4.) Attract Serious Buyers. Unique properties often require a unique buyer. Lot line photos can help attract buyers who are specifically looking for a certain type of property or location. (And even if your listing isn’t the right one for them, they may notice your attention to detail and call you up to be their buyer’s agent!)
