I recently had the opportunity to photograph this lovely traditional center-entrance colonial in Grosse Pointe. Within a few days I received a call from the listing agent, who was thrilled to share with me that an offer had already been accepted on it! According to the MLS, it was on the market for 9 days before going pending!
While I can’t take all the credit, the listing agent did feel that the high quality photography played a part – it got buyers excited about this home and helped propel web traffic to this listing. It’s been proven in industry studies that homes with professional photography not only garner more attention by buyers, but for homes listed over 300k, they actually sell for more money.
What’s even more interesting is that this isn’t an isolated case. I frequently hear from clients that after replacing their original cell phone images with professional photography, they start getting calls from buyers. Several of the homes I have photographed recently have sold within 2 weeks.
Professional photography also has a life after the listing is over. Agents can continue to use photos to illustrate blog posts, or for promotional materials. Quality photos can help elevate your branding and attract a higher end clientele.
I photograph homes all over the Metro Detroit area.
